As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you will provide compassionate care that helps older people live with dignity, comfort and enjoyment. You will be part of a supportive and dedicated team, making a meaningful difference to people's lives every single day.

What Your Day Could Involve

Acting as a key worker and supporting the development and review of individual care plans Providing personal care and supporting daily routines with kindness and respect Promoting wellbeing through physical, social and mental activities Working closely with health professionals and families to ensure consistent care Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment Keeping accurate records and contributing positively to team meetings

About You

You bring warmth, patience and compassion to your work and treat everyone with dignity and respect. Ideally, you will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or be willing to work towards this with our support. You will have basic computer skills for learning and record keeping, be registered with the SSSC and be a member of the PVG Scheme. You will also feel comfortable working within and upholding our Christian ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
