As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you'll support older people with their daily needs and help them live life to the fullest in a safe, comfortable environment. It's practical, meaningful work where every small action makes a real difference.

What your day might include:

Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing and mobility Supporting people to stay active and follow their daily routines Offering companionship and conversation throughout the day Assisting with social activities or hobbies that bring joy and connection Noticing changes in wellbeing and sharing concerns with colleagues

About You

You're caring, reliable and enjoy working as part of a supportive team. You're confident using basic digital tools and open to learning new skills. If you don't already have an SVQ 3 in Social Care, you'll be supported to work towards it. You bring kindness, patience and respect to everything you do, and your Christian faith is an important part of how you care for others.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
