Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including hospice care, dementia care, and home care. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalised care tailored to their unique needs.

Generous remuneration package including mileage allowance of 25p per mile.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care, ensuring the comfort and safety of clients at all times. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Support clients with mobility and physical activities as required. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate professionals. Foster a supportive environment by engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in care, dementia care, is highly desirable but not essential as full training is provided. Strong understanding of care principles and practices. Ability to administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Valid driving licence is essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
