We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Duties

Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Provide specialised patient care including medication administration and behaviour management Support residents with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers and repositioning Engage residents in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing tailored care plans Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, maintaining safe driving practices Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervising staff

Skills

Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments or home care settings Knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration and behaviour management Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice or senior care practices Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support Organisation skills for managing multiple clients' needs effectively First aid certification is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates Valid driving licence preferred for transportation duties Childcare experience is a plus for roles involving younger clients or family support roles
