```Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of our clients. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and assistance to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Implement behavior management strategies for clients with challenging behaviors - Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or those in hospice care Skills: - Experience in childcare or care-related roles is preferred - Knowledge of assisted living, dementia care, hospice care, or home care practices is a plus - Ability to administer medications accurately and safely - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for the position) - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged standing If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.
