We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Foster a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care practices is beneficial. A background in nursing or caregiving is an advantage. First aid certification is preferred to ensure client safety during emergencies. Experience in childcare may also be considered valuable when working with families needing support.
