As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you will support older people to live with dignity, comfort and enjoyment. You will be part of a caring team that makes a meaningful difference to people's lives every day.

What your day could involve

Acting as a key worker and helping to shape and review care plans Supporting individuals with personal care and daily routines with respect and kindness Promoting wellbeing through physical, social and mental activities Working closely with health professionals and families Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment Keeping accurate records and contributing to team meetings

About you

You bring warmth, patience and compassion to your work and treat every person with respect and dignity. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is ideal, although you can work towards this with our support. You will have basic computer skills for learning and record keeping, be registered with the SSSC and part of the PVG Scheme. You will also be comfortable working within and upholding our Christian ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
