We are seeking Senior Care Workers and Carers Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through compassionate, respectful, and personalised care.

This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team. A valid driving licence and experience in senior or dementia care are highly desirable.

Duties



Providing personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Assisting with medication administration and ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment plans Supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's through behaviour management techniques and specialised care strategies Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Assisting with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment Driving clients to appointments or social activities as needed Responding promptly to emergencies by applying first aid when necessary Offering emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided and reporting any concerns to supervising staff

Experience



Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or senior care practices is advantageous Experience with medication administration and behaviour management techniques is desirable Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is beneficial Caregiving experience involving heavy lifting or physical assistance is a plus Childcare experience may be considered an asset for certain roles within the organisation
All applicants should demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
