Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals requiring personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering compassionate care in their homes. This role covers both day and night shifts, with early starts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for day shifts, and night shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. A strong commitment to patient welfare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle a variety of caregiving tasks are essential.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Support clients with daily living activities to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or case manager. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients during challenging times, including hospice care when needed. Deliver specialised care where required, including: NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation) support Cough Assist usage Medication administration PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) feeding support

Requirements

Previous experience in home or patient care is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology to support effective communication within the healthcare team. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others. Valid driving licence preferred. Must be trained in NIV, Cough Assist, medication administration, and PEG feeding. Experience with MND care is preferred but not essential. A caring attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Pay: 12.30-13.00 per hour
