We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while fostering positive relationships with clients and their families.
Duties
Carry out complex care such as PEG feeding, suctioning, seizure management.
Administration of medication.
Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, continence care, mobility) while promoting dignity and independence.
Monitor, record, and report any changes in the individual's health and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and the wider care team to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records, incident reports, and health observations.
Adhere to infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety policies at all times.
Participate in regular training, clinical competency checks, and supervision to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
Skills
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with clients and colleagues.
Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and effectively convey information.
Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Ability to follow care plans meticulously while being adaptable to the changing needs of clients.
Experience working with children and young adults.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in complex care, healthcare assistant, or support work.
Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety practices.
Driving licence.

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
