We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals in various care settings Domiciliary Care setting home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients through personalised care and assistance. Responsibilities
Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records
Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met
Assist with behavioural management strategies for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care needs
Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing
Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety at all times
Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organised environment, following health and safety guidelines
Assist with specialised care needs such as hospice care or child care if applicable
Respond promptly to emergency situations by applying first aid procedures when necessary
Skills
Experience in Domiciliary , nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable
Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and hospice care practices
Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages, including children and seniors
Ability to administer medication safely and effectively
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to manage behaviour effectively and employ patience in challenging situations
Competence in driving safely when transporting clients or running errands
Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility tasks
Basic first aid certification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
