Develop and deliver curricular and co-curricular interventions to foster students' employability in partnership with a designated portfolio of academic departments, to enable delivery of the University's key performance indicators in relation to graduate outcomes and graduate retention.
Key Accountabilities
1. Design, deliver, review and continuously improve a portfolio of activities to develop students' employability and work experience within and beyond the curriculum.
2. Provide business partnering advice, guidance and support to academic course teams and departments to embed employability effectively in curriculum design and delivery, including tailored support for priority areas of the University portfolio and/or student community as appropriate.
3. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including placement and business engagement colleagues and employers, to enable students to gain appropriate labour market knowledge and experience.
4. Contribute to institutional monitoring and reporting in relation to employability and graduate outcomes.
5. Continuously maintain knowledge of sector developments and good practices relating to careers education

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to hold the following qualification requirements:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Hold IAG qualification or appropriate level of professional experience
Hold PG Cert in Education or teaching qualification (PTLLS or DTLLS)
Experience and Knowledge Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Experience of working in a HE/FE environment.
Experience of using digital technologies to produce innovative and engaging learning opportunities, including
Microsoft Office packages and VLEs.
Knowledge of the graduate labour market, with experience of employer facing relationship-building, and the current economic and employment situation for recent graduates.
Knowledge of careers information, advice and guidance quality standards.
