The role can be offered for employed of self-employed - currently we need someone 2/3 days per week.



We can also accept a trainee willing to work towards a L6 qualification



Based in Durham





An exciting opportunity has arisen to the join expanding Progress Careers Team a

Careers Advisor

. The ideal candidate should be able to support the smooth and efficient running of contracts, the effective overview of central records and reporting and to develop strong communications with all key stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:



Education

: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, particularly in English and Maths. Qualified (L6 or prepared to work towards).

Experience

: + Experience in managing databases, filing systems, and handling HR-related tasks such as safer recruitment and onboarding.
+ Experience working with Microsoft Teams, Office Suite, and other relevant software.

Skills and Competencies:



Organizational Skills

: Exceptional ability to manage multiple administrative tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage several different work streams at once without close supervision.

Attention to Detail

: Meticulous in handling records, filing systems, reports, and proofreading documents.

Communication

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Problem Solving

: Ability to take initiative and solve day-to-day issues efficiently. Ability to work to tight timelines and able to produce high quality work whilst under pressure.

Team Collaboration

: Ability to build strong working relationships with senior members of staff within schools

Adaptability

: Flexibility in managing evolving responsibilities in a dynamic environment
