We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Careers and Alumni Officer to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with current students and alumni, providing career guidance, organising events, and supporting the professional development of our community. Responsibilities



Develop and implement programmes to support students' career development and alumni engagement. Organise career fairs, networking events, workshops, and seminars to enhance employability skills among students and alumni. Maintain and update the careers database, tracking alumni progress and maintaining communication channels. Provide personalised career advice and guidance to students and recent graduates. Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career-related activities into curricula. Foster relationships with employers, industry partners, and organisations to create internship and employment opportunities. Manage social media platforms and other communication channels to promote events and success stories. Support the organisation of alumni reunions and other community-building activities.

Skills



Proven experience in teaching or educational roles is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively. Ability to build professional relationships with students, alumni, employers, and external partners. Proficiency in using digital tools for event planning, database management, and social media marketing. Passionate about education, mentorship, and supporting career development initiatives.
