The successful applicant will have the necessary knowledge, skills and vision to be an exceptionally organised Careers Assistant. As Careers Assistant you will support the Careers Leader with the organisation and administration of activities planned with year groups. Administering the school's Work Experience Programmes for year 10 students and year 12 students on our Foundation Programme. Administering the schools Careers advice appointments, managing and maintaining the Year 11 at risk of NEET tracker
The post holder will predominantly administer the day to day running of the annual work experience element for our Year 10 students.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
to support with all administrative aspects of the school's CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance) programme, including but not limited to:
? Supporting the Careers Leader with the organisation and administration of activities planned with year groups
? Administering the school's Work Experience Programmes for year 10 students and year 12 students on our Foundation Programme
? Administering the schools Careers advice appointments
? Manage and maintain Year 11 at risk of NEET tracker
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Advice and Guidance Administration
? Schedule student meetings, bookings and meeting times for students to meet with our External Careers Advisor
? Support with maintaining a spreadsheet of 1:1 meeting appointments and actions which is shared with all in-school stakeholders
? Support the outcomes and destinations of our Year 11 students by maintaining our Year 11 at risk of NEET tracker
? Support with the organisation of Careers Fairs, pop-ups, UCAS exhibition, Year 12 Core provision, Post-16 Futures collapsed timetable mornings/days and other Futures-related trips/visits.
? Produce a weekly Post 16 Careers Bulletin with up to date information, vacancies events and opportunities
? support the Careers Leader with the organisation of any whole cohort activities connected to CEIAG
Placement Organisation
? Offer guidance to work experience learners in Year 10 and 12 (Foundation) on placement opportunities, including signposting of the WEX opportunities that are available for students through various portals and how to apply for them
? Undertake administrative tasks associated with the planning, monitoring and delivery of and efficiency of the work experience programme in Year 10.
? Manage the Unifrog process to ensure all work experience placements have been checked via the external system.
? Monitor and report on student attendance whilst on work experience placement.
? To manage the complete approval process for learner placements prior to placements taking place.
