Wealth Management Correspondent (1 year contract position)
Financial News, the leading publication for City professionals, is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic journalist to cover Financial News's wealth management beat. This will be a one year maternity cover.
You will write front-page stories and in-depth features on the world's biggest wealth management firms. You will also be responsible for writing the weekly wealth management newsletter.
You will develop relationships with some of the most senior wealth executives in London, and break the biggest stories that matter to those both in and outside of the industry.

You Will:
Responsible for producing feature-length stories
Be responsible the wealth management weekly newsletter
Strongly reported stories that are agenda-setting.
Develop a deep network of sources.
Engage with a broader audience through social media.
Writes short pieces for the FN online news desk where relevant.
Help produce content for projects team where relevant.
You Have:
Capable of producing scoops.
Produce fast, clean, compelling and accurate copy
Experience of developing a broad network of well-placed sources
Demonstrate understanding of digital journalism concepts and digital storytelling techniques.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the beat.
Demonstrate a willingness to work as a team and cover for other reporters/editors where required.
