Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, culinary arts, or related fields. This role involves supervising staff, managing household activities, and ensuring a high standard of service and comfort for all residents.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of household staff, including cleaners, cooks, and maintenance personnel. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring meals are nutritious and meet dietary requirements. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed. Provide bartending services during events or gatherings, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the home, ensuring all areas are well-kept and welcoming. Assist with event planning and execution within the home, including dinner parties and family gatherings. Foster a positive environment by providing leadership and support to staff members. Address any issues or concerns raised by residents or staff promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, culinary, or related fields is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is highly desirable. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not mandatory. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing household operations. Ability to work flexible hours as required by the household needs. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and residents alike.
