Join our team as Careline Operator
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day? As a Careline Operator, you'll provide vital support to customers through our 24-hour social alarm monitoring and mobile response service. This is your chance to help people remain independent in their own homes, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Key
Responsibilities
Respond to emergency social alarm calls from elderly and vulnerable customers, following established policies and procedures.
Handle customer queries and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Deliver cover for Elderly Services Officers, including attending emergency calls and providing personal care support when required.
Support out-of-hours messaging and CCTV monitoring services for internal and external organisations.
Accurately record all interactions and maintain detailed documentation.
Report health and safety issues promptly and share learning where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to empathise and actively listen.
Excellent customer service skills with a solution-focused approach, combined with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Digital proficiency, including Microsoft 365 applications and IT systems.
A full, clean driving licence and willingness to respond to mobile calls.
A satisfactory enhanced DBS check (completed during onboarding).
Previous experience in customer support, ideally working with older or vulnerable adults, along with knowledge of community alarm systems and call handling (desirable).

This is an office-based position, and the role includes working night shifts as part of a fixed working pattern.

Where a working pattern requires attendance on a bank holiday or a local bank holiday, the equivalent time will be credited to your annual leave entitlement.
