Job Description

Purpose of Role

Our purpose is simple - to provide kind, reliable, high-quality care that helps people live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and genuine compassion. As part of our team, you'll build trusting relationships, support each person in the way that's right for them, and help them stay independent and make their own choices. Together, we create a warm, caring culture where quality, safety and wellbeing always come first - and where kindness, honesty and continuous learning guide everything we do.

About Beaumont Home Care

Beaumont Home Care is a privately owned domiciliary care company built on strong family values. We provide high-quality, person-centred care that helps people live safely, comfortably and with dignity in their own homes. Our team works across Brentwood, Basildon and Chelmsford, delivering care with kindness, respect and genuine compassion. We believe in supporting both our clients and our carers -- offering fair pay, paid travel time, ongoing training and a caring, family-feel culture where everyone is valued and supported to be their best.

Key Responsibilities / Main Duties

Deliver care that is person-centred, respecting each client's individual needs, preferences, background and choices - supporting them to live safely, comfortably and with dignity in their own home. Establish and maintain meaningful, reassuring relationships with clients, their families and the wider care team, demonstrating our values of kindness, respect and trust in every interaction. Support clients with personal care tasks, mobility, nutrition and hydration, medication prompting (where applicable) and domestic tasks - always encouraging independence and involving the client in decisions about their care. Recognise, assess and respond appropriately to risks in the client's environment or condition; report changes in the client's needs or wellbeing promptly to the manager, and follow safe working practices at all times. Keep accurate, timely and clear records of care delivered, observations made, incidents or concerns raised - helping to maintain good governance, accountability and continuous improvement. Comply with legal, regulatory and organisational standards: e.g., safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control, confidentiality, health & safety, and the duty of candour. Participate fully in induction, mandatory and refresher training, supervision, appraisal and ongoing professional development - keeping skills and knowledge up to date so that you can deliver effective, high-quality care. Promote a positive, inclusive culture within the team: support colleagues, contribute ideas for improvement, be dependable, honest and act with integrity in line with our core values and the expectations of outstanding care. Represent Beaumont Home Care in a professional, friendly and respectful manner -- whether visiting clients, interacting with families or liaising with other professionals - positively reflecting our commitment to excellence in care. Embrace continuous improvement: reflect on your practice, welcome feedback, suggest ways to enhance client experience and service delivery, and help us maintain an outstanding standard of care.
Our Values and Behaviours

At Beaumont Home Care, our values guide everything we do -- from how we support our clients to how we treat one another. We believe that truly outstanding care starts with kindness, respect, and trust, and is strengthened by continuous learning, teamwork and a genuine desire to make a difference.

These values aren't just words - they're the standards we live by every day, shaping how we work, how we communicate, and how we care.

Kindness & Caring

We approach every person with warmth, patience and genuine compassion. We don't just meet expectations - we go the extra mile to brighten someone's day, offer reassurance, and make every visit meaningful. Every act of care, no matter how small, is delivered with heart and purpose.

Knowledgeable & Professional

We take pride in being skilled, confident and well-informed. We complete our training, stay up to date, and use our knowledge to deliver safe, effective and dignified care. Professionalism means doing the right thing -- even when no one is watching.

Honesty & Trustworthiness

We are open, transparent and dependable. We communicate clearly, take responsibility for our actions, and follow through on our promises. Clients and colleagues know they can rely on us to act with integrity.

Reliability & Accountability

We show up on time, prepared, and with a positive attitude. We take ownership of the care we deliver, respond quickly to concerns, and always put the wellbeing and safety of our clients first.

Empathy & Respect

We treat everyone as an individual -- listening with understanding and speaking with kindness. We respect each person's background, culture, values and choices, recognising that dignity begins with how we make people feel.

Patience & Dignity

We never rush care. We work at the client's pace, respecting their routines and independence. Every person we support deserves to feel valued, heard and in control of their own life.

Transparency, Continuous Learning & Improvement

We believe that learning never stops. We welcome feedback, share ideas and look for better ways to deliver care. By reflecting on our practice and supporting one another to grow, we keep raising our standards and ensure Beaumont Home Care continues to be a service we're proud of.

Living Our Values

At Beaumont Home Care, we're proud to go above and beyond -- taking time, thought and care to make a positive difference in someone's life.
