Job Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive personal care, medication management, and emotional support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need, particularly seniors and individuals with specialised care requirements such as dementia or Alzheimer's. Prior experience in healthcare or caregiving is highly valued, and training will be provided where necessary.

Duties



Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Provide patient care including medication administration and monitoring vital signs Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's through behaviour management and specialised care techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and performing light housekeeping tasks Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary Support families with childcare or additional household tasks as required

Experience



Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred Knowledge of senior care, hospice care, dementia or Alzheimer's care is advantageous Experience with medication administration and basic nursing procedures is desirable Familiarity with behaviour management techniques for clients with special needs Valid driving licence is beneficial for roles involving client transportation Candidates should demonstrate excellent caregiving skills, patience, empathy, and strong communication abilities Relevant certifications such as first aid training are a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable applicants interested in developing their skills further
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-25.08 per hour
