Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to an individual in his home. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our client through personalised care and companionship. This role requires a nurturing attitude, patience, and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, catheter care/bowel care. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their emotional well-being. Monitor and document client health conditions, reporting any changes to management. Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their comfort during travel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in care roles such as home care, or nursing home settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Ability to work independently while also being a team player when required. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role. A valid licence for transporting clients as necessary.

Hours of work are flexible and agreed within the team in advance - Standard shifts within this package are:

Monday to Sunday :

08:30-10:30 or 08:30-13:00
Returning at:

17:00-21:45
