Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, or home care settings, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients, making it crucial for candidates to possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as required. Engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Drive clients to appointments or social activities when needed. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant parties.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care, childcare, nursing homes, or home care is preferred. Familiarity with first aid practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of clients. A valid driving licence is beneficial for transporting clients. A caring attitude with excellent communication skills is essential.
