Right at Home Isle of Wight is a leading homecare provider, known for delivering top-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes and for valuing and rewarding our brilliant Carers.

We are seeking an experienced Waking Night Carer to support one of our wonderful Clients through the night, two-nights per week. Our Client is living with dementia, and needs some support with their mobility, so experience with dementia and ability to perform some moving and handling is essential.

What will you be doing?

Monitoring and supporting residents throughout the night -- ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.

Assisting with personal care needs such as toileting, changing, or repositioning to prevent discomfort or pressure sores.

Carrying out regular checks and recording observations to maintain accurate night-time care records.

Supporting with evening/ morning medication requirements

Responding promptly to calls or emergencies and providing reassurance or first aid when needed.

Preparing the home or care environment for the morning

What do you need?

Be available for full waking night Tuesdays and Wednesdays (from 10pm)

Have the Right to Work in the UK

Driving licence and own car - preferred, not essential

Experience with lone-working and caring through the night

Experience with dementia - preferred

Be a reliable team player with a caring and positive attitude
