Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to work in our Day Opportunities and Dementia Day Care Hub for older people.

We are looking for a colleague to join our team, full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm.

You will need to hold a driving licence (the additional D1 entitlement would be preferred) so that you can drive one our of disabled access minibuses. You will also be working as a Care Support Colleague within our Day Opportunities and Dementia Day Care, some personal care will be required. There will also be a need for you to carry out hot meal deliveries within the Canterbury area to our clients as required. In addition, there will be times when work will need to be carried out in our kitchen area, such as cleaning and washing up.

We are committed to providing a high standard of service and the post holder will deliver the highest level of personal care and attention to our clients, ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.

A background in working with older people and experience in dementia care is desirable.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm.
