PART TIME CARETAKER

The site is Green Fold School (Seedlings) Martha Street Bolton BL3 4AH.

General Caretaker Grade C pt 4 \xe2\x80\x93 6 \xc2\xa321,189 - \xc2\xa321,968 pro rata

25 hours per week AYR

Hours of work would be 7 am \xe2\x80\x9310 am - 3pm \xe2\x80\x93 5 pm daily (extra hours maybe available)

The Orchards Federation of Schools would like to appoint an adaptable, self-motivated, conscientious, enthusiastic, team player to work at our newly acquired site. The site will be a new addition to Green Fold Special School which will accommodate the Early Years children commencing their learning journey with Green Fold.

Our main buildings are on Highfield Road Farnworth and another building in Little Lever. We are co-located with a two form entry primary school and a nursery school and together form The Orchards Federation. We all share extremely well resourced accommodation and share a mission statement:

\xc2\xb7 The ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team

\xc2\xb7 Experience of carrying out routine repairs and maintenance, preferably in a school environment

\xc2\xb7 An awareness of Health & Safety, fire regulations and appropriate safety procedures.

\xc2\xb7 The ability to cope with the physical demands of the job

\xc2\xb7 Awareness of security

\xc2\xb7 Good numeracy and literacy skills

\xc2\xb7 Basic ICT skills

\xc2\xb7 A friendly and pleasant manner

Previous trade experience / skills would be an advantage, general building maintenance etc.
