Treetops Hospice provides nursing and therapeutic care alongside emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
The main purpose of this role is to support the services provided by Treetops Hospice with caretaking/maintenance duties as directed by the Facilities Manager. These duties will include monitoring the condition of the campus and buildings and reporting any repairs and renewals which are needed, delivery of a planned preventative maintenance programme and to carry out basic maintenance tasks, e.g., decorating, gritting, and clearing snow and ice in Winter. On occasion the post holder may be expected to perform keyholder duties.
The secondary purpose is to support service delivery by ensuring the hospice vehicles are clean, fit for purpose and by transporting service users if needed.
