Eslington Primary School is a provision for children with Social, Emotional and/or Mental Health difficulties in Gateshead which was judged as outstanding by OFSTED in 2022. We are a

two site

provision, with premises at Hazel Road and Rose Street in Gateshead.



The governors are seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Caretaker to be part of our friendly and dedicated school team. You must have a current driving licence due to the split site working arrangements. The times of working hours may be flexible to suit candidate and school. Summary of duties relate to both sites including sports hall and bungalow. These duties include but are not necessarily limited to:

Repairs and maintenance Key holder - securing sites (opening/locking up) Designated cleaning Painting, fixing and DIY tasks within capability Portage duties, including between sites Health and safety Grounds Maintenance Undertake training as required Support the Site Manager with appropriate tasks Driving the school minibus
