Caretaker needed at a Secondary School in Reading, Berkshire (Full-Time or Part-Time available)

A lovely School in

Reading

is looking for a Caretaker Monday to Friday.

Full time or Part Time (3 days per week over 5 days), permanent position

37 or 22.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday - Plus agreed overtime

Salary: RG3 (5-11) 24,790 - 27,269 - Full time

RGS (5-11) 14,874 - 16,361.40 - Part time

Purpose of the Job

To assist the Head Caretaker/Facilities Manager in managing the Health and Safety procedures of the School so that the safest possible environment is achieved and maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.

To support the Head Caretaker/Facilities Manager in maintaining and developing the School premises and grounds and ensure the School is a clean, healthy and safe environment for all.

You may need to assist the Site Team at both sites and there needs to be a degree of flexibility on hours, as and when it is required.

Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract

Pay: 24,790.00-27,269.00 per year
