This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and adaptable person to join our in-house Estate Team. Duties are varied and include all general caretaking tasks; setting up school events, distributing resources and deliveries, maintaining the clean and tidy appearance of the buildings and overall estate, unlocking and locking up buildings and general handyman duties.
The post holder will be organised and efficient, able to work independently with initiative as well as collaboratively as a member of the wider Estates team (comprising caretakers, maintenance, grounds and cleaning contractors). The team works cohesively to enable the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the school and ensure a safe and orderly environment for students and staff.
The preferred working hours are Monday to Friday, from 11.30 am to 7.30 pm, with some flexibility considered. Occasional duties outside regular hours may be required. Candidates should be physically fit, as the role requires physical effort. While previous experience working in a school environment is beneficial, it is not essential.

Candidates are welcome to contact to arrange an informal discussion about the role or to visit the school before application.
