About the Role

are seeking a reliable, proactive, and dedicated School Caretaker to join a welcoming and vibrant school community in Northwest London. This is a full-time position offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

As the School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained. You will be responsible for the day-to-day security, maintenance, and general upkeep of the premises, including minor repairs, grounds keeping, and providing support for school operations and events.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the school premises are secure, clean, and well-maintained at all times Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and basic DIY tasks Open and close the school site daily Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and alarm systems Liaise with contractors and oversee site works when required Support staff with setting up for school activities and events

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience in caretaking, site management, or facilities (preferred but not essential) A good understanding of health and safety procedures Strong practical skills in maintenance and basic repairs A proactive, dependable, and independent approach to work An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
