Job Description

Responsibilities & Daily Duties

Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc. Clean lifts and entrances Perform maintenance and light repairs Perform routine landscaping/gardening on the grounds, weeding etc. Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.) Undertake light installation and carpentry (e.g. Fixing doors/Skirting) Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing repairs Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. Shovelling snow/Gritting pavements) Identify and report the need for major repairs Carry out weekly block checks Daily bin store duties, sweeping and keeping clean and tidy Litter picking Meter reading Alarm testing Furniture moving Will include duties in the leisure and swimming suite (training provided)

Requirements

Proven experience as handyman Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems Good communication ability Well-organized and apt in problem-solving Attention to detail

Pay: 13.00 per hour
