Based at Heathrow Airport - Cargo

To motivate, engage and inspire staff to deliver the best possible service as well as maintain excellent relationships with customers and authorities.
Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

Supervise/allocate tasks including reporting absences and overtime. Plan and deploy resource to meet customer and operational requirements. Develop an open feedback culture by managing the performance of employees and ensure workplace standards are maintained. Ensure compliance with all Swissport corporate safety and security procedures in order to meet/exceed regulatory standards that deliver the desired customer service experience. Comply with all relevant legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements. Comply with Swissport policies, procedures and processes. Maintain up-to-date manuals and documentation as required Build and maintain relationships with customers and airport authorities. Encourage consistency and collaboration by ensuring clear communication at all levels. This will include staff briefings, shift handover meetings, one-to-ones and completion of relevant reports. Ensure compliance with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Resolve conflict and irregularities and take appropriate action. On the job guiding, coaching and mentoring. Signing off break/build documentation. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and CompetenciesIn possession of at least three GCSEs / O Level Flexible to work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays) Ability to speak and understand the English language Ability to travel to the airport at times when public transport is not available Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired Demonstrate supervisory experience for at least three years Excellent oral and written communication skills A full driving licence Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn relevant computer system Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required * Commitment to continuous improvement
