We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while also contributing to the overall success of the salon through effective store management and client engagement.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs. Perform barbering services with precision and skill. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer tailored recommendations. Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience. Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client records. Mentor junior stylists and apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development. Offer specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in store management is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with upselling techniques and product knowledge is beneficial. A passion for the beauty industry, with an eagerness to stay updated on current trends and techniques.
