Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team, working across a range of residential construction projects, including new builds, home extensions, loft conversions, and structural alterations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both first and second fix carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently. This is a great opportunity to be involved in varied and rewarding domestic building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspects of first and second fix carpentry including: Stud partitioning, joisting, roofing, door and window fitting Installation of staircases, skirting, architraves, and other finishings Fitting kitchens, wardrobes, and other custom joinery elements Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications Work closely with site managers, builders, and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and meets company quality standards Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Work efficiently in both occupied and unoccupied residential settings Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction Skilled in both first fix and second fix carpentry Ability to read and work from construction drawings and plans Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Own tools and transport (preferred) Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 150.00-250.00 per day
