Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble structural components using appropriate tools and techniques Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively Carry out carpentry and joinery tasks with precision to meet project specifications Perform roofing work including installation, repairs, and maintenance Conduct plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installations Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Assist with electrical installations and troubleshooting where qualified Undertake construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing or protection Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment as required Follow health and safety protocols diligently throughout all activities Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or related trades preferred Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work Good understanding of health and safety standards within construction environments Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are desirable but not mandatory Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various project requirements
