Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. You will be responsible for a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, interior joinery, bespoke cabinetry. Not all aspects of carpentry need to be met as we understand people have different strengths.
Precision and Accuracy:
Carry out carpentry work to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.Reading Plans:
Interpret architectural and structural plans to guide your work.Tool Proficiency:
Expertly operate a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and woodworking machinery.Material Handling:
Accurately measure, cut, and join wood and other materials.Quality Control:
Ensure all carpentry work meets safety standards and industry best practices.Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve issues that may arise on site.Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and team members.Requirements:
Experience:
minimum of 5 yearsQualifications:
NVQ level 2/3Skills:
Eye for detail, good work ethic, reliable, able to work in a team band on your own.Reliability:
Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.Safety Awareness:
Awareness and adherence to health and safety regulations.Job Type: Temporary
Pay: 22.00-23.75 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Experience:
Joinery: 1 year (preferred) Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
CSCS (preferred) Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
