Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our team as a Construction Specialist. This role requires a strong background in various construction disciplines, including fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, joinery and roofing. This position is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. we have 4 carports to be built which require posts and beams and a roof on top with cladding. Duties

Fabricate and assemble components as per project specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Perform carpentry and joinery work, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts. Assist with roofing projects, including installation and repairs. Carry out heavy lifting as required during construction activities. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a construction setting. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Strong skills in carpentry, joinery and roofing are highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: 200.00-300.00 per day
