Duties

Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment Perform carpentry and joinery tasks, including framing, fitting, and finishing work Conduct roofing activities such as repairs, installations, and waterproofing measures Assist with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks Carry out masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Engage in electrical tasks where applicable, adhering to safety standards and regulations Undertake heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials safely around the site Apply construction painting techniques for both interior and exterior surfaces Use hand tools effectively for detailed assembly or repair work Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction trades Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work Good understanding of construction safety standards and procedures Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual tasks over extended periods Ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements and work collaboratively within a team

This role will start on site on the 5th January for one month, likely to be extended.

Pay: Up to 250.00 per day
