We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter for 1st and 2nd fix. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and fabrication tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, repairing, and maintaining structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship across multiple disciplines.

Duties

Carry out fabrication and assembly of materials as per project specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Perform carpentry and joinery work, including the installation of fixtures and fittings. Engage in roofing activities, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roofing systems. Conduct heavy lifting as required for moving materials and equipment. Execute construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Assist with plumbing installations and repairs as needed. Undertake masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework. Apply electrical experience for minor installations or repairs when necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is essential for executing tasks efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively is required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid health and safety certification would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Pay: 30.00-35.00 per hour
