Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter's to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to fabricate and assemble components. Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Carry out masonry work as needed for specific projects. Execute joinery tasks with precision to ensure strong and durable connections. Prepare surfaces for painting and finishing, ensuring a professional appearance. Plumb structures accurately to maintain alignment and stability. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and machinery relevant to carpentry work. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work. Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical plans accurately. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
