Duties

Fabricate, assemble, and install structures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment Perform carpentry and joinery work, including cutting, fitting, and securing materials Conduct roofing tasks such as repairs, installations, and maintenance Assist with plumbing and masonry tasks as required on-site Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of materials to support project needs Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is highly desirable Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various construction tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of construction processes including painting and general maintenance Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety hazards Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous
