Eastbourne District General Hospital (EDGH), Eastbourne, East Sussex

Salary:

Competitive + Excellent Overtime Rates

Hours:

Full-time, Monday-Friday (plus optional weekend/overtime work)

Permanent

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable

Carpenter

to join our team working under a

Measured Term Contractor

within a busy hospital environment. This is a great opportunity to apply your trade in a setting where your work truly supports essential services.

Your Role:

You'll carry out a wide range of carpentry and joinery tasks, including:

Repair and maintenance of doors, windows, fittings, and fixtures Supporting refurbishments and minor building works Fire door installation and maintenance Ensuring all work is compliant with health and safety standards and hospital regulations

? Requirements:

Proven experience in carpentry and joinery (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred) Must be self-employed Valid

CSCS card

(trade relevant) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
