Job Title: CarpenterOverview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. This role involves constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials Construct and install building frameworks such as walls, floors, and doorframes Install fixtures including windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and molding Repair and maintain existing structures and fixtures Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Ensure all work meets building codes and safety standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment Ability to read technical documents and drawings Strong math and measurement skills Physical stamina and manual dexterity Understanding of basic construction principles High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Experience in framing, finishing, or cabinetry Knowledge of building regulations and codes Ability to manage small projects independently Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Work Environment

Indoor and outdoor job sites Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights Use of protective equipment as required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 180.00-240.00 per day
