Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced carpenter / finishing joiner to join our team on a high-quality commercial office fit-out project in St Peter Port, Guernsey. Work includes installation of joinery finishes, acoustic panels, doors, and general second-fix carpentry.

An immediate start is available for the right candidate. Local and UK based applicants are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Install kitchens, skirtings, architraves, and doors Fit acoustic wall panelling and trims to drawings/specifications Carry out finishing carpentry to a high standard (including mitred detailing and scribing)? Assist with general joinery and finishing elements within the fit-out Coordinate with site management to meet quality and programme requirements Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work area Maintain a professional, collaborative and positive approach and attitude at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a finishing carpenter / joiner on commercial projects Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications? Own tools and PPE CSCS card (Skilled Worker or equivalent)? Driving licence preferred Able to work independently and to a professional standard

Compliance / Working in Guernsey

Must be eligible to work on Guernsey projects; we'll support any permit/admin required for the engagement.

Travel & Accommodation

For UK candidates:

Travel: We cover one return trip to/from Guernsey at project start and end Ongoing travel & accommodation is to be arranged by the applicant. We can recommend local options.

Contract length

Approx. 4-6 weeks, with potential for ongoing work
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: Up to 35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
