We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with a keen interest or experience in 1st fix carpentry.
This role involves producing high quality, accurate stud walls and roof structures for our shepherd huts.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the assembly, and preparation of timber frame panels and roof assemblies to a high standard, while working efficiently to meet our production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble timber frame panels, floors, and other structural components using machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
Read and work from basic technical drawings and cutting lists.
Operate saws, nail guns, and other woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Ensure all products are made to the required specifications and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Skills & Experience Required
Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and measurements.
Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
