Summary

We are currently looking for a highly skilled, self employed Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years professional experience to join our team on a full time basis, If you're a reliable tradesperson with your own tools and transportation, and you're looking for steady, well-paid work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Fabricate custom joinery pieces according to project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assemble furniture and other wooden structures with precision. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Perform roofing tasks as required, ensuring structural integrity. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various conditions. Basic knowledge of electrical work or plumbing is a plus but not mandatory. Minimum 5 years' carpentry experience Self-employed with proper licenses and insurance Own tools and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and punctuality Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
