Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the capability to perform heavy lifting and work with different materials. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential.

Responsibilities

Assemble and construct wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications. Perform masonry work as required for various projects. Carry out roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square by using appropriate tools and techniques. Own tools are required Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure seamless project completion. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to carpentry tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation between job sites. CSCS skilled card is required
