Responsibilities:
Construct, repair, and maintain wooden and structural elements, especially in older or historic buildings
Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, plastic, and fiberglass with accuracy
Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and roofs
Inspect, repair, or replace damaged framework and architectural details
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to meet exact specifications
Use hand and power tools effectively and safely
Work closely with a team of construction and preservation professionals to ensure quality project execution
Experience & Skills:
Proven carpentry experience, ideally including work on historic or vintage structures
Skilled in traditional and modern carpentry methods and tools
Familiarity with complementary trades: masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and painting
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for demanding tasks

Pay: 210.00-225.00 per day
