Job Summary

We are a small but growing residential property refurbishment and management business based in Ealing, West London, seeking a qualified, experienced, hands-on and reliable Carpenter with Multitrader skills in painting and decorating and general handyman work. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys taking pride in their work, has a problem-solving mindset, and is looking to grow with a business that values client service and quality craftsmanship. It would suit someone who likes to work independently and has the ambition to help the business grow.

Responsibilities

All site based Carpentry tasks (residential) Fitting kitchens, doors, and flooring (laminate, vinyl, etc.) Boxing in pipework, sealing, and finishing Carpentry repairs - skirting, architraves, cupboards Interior and exterior painting and decorating Plastering, filling, sanding and prepping surfaces Day-to-day general maintenance and repairs across a managed portfolio of residential properties (10 - 20% of time) Touch-ups and repairs between tenancies (patching, painting, fixtures) Responding to maintenance jobs in a timely and professional manner Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on all jobs

Experience

Proven experience in residential focussed Carpentry. Qualified in the UK. Working with end clients (tenants) and understanding customer service. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Experience with loft conversions and staircases an advantage. A strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
