Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills, including assembly, carpentry, joinery, and electrical experience. This role involves working on diverse projects that require precision, physical strength, and attention to detail. The successful applicant will contribute to the realisation of high-quality structures and installations, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication and assembly tasks using various hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment Execute carpentry and joinery work with precision to meet project specifications Undertake roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as required by project scope Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around the site Assist in the installation of structural components and fixtures Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold safety standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timelines

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various construction tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Knowledge of construction painting techniques is desirable Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual labour tasks Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
